Oregon Unarmed Security Guards Licensing Requirements

State Security Licensing Authorities: Oregon

Oregon Security Guard License

Security Guard License Oregon requires its prospective security guards applying for license to:

  • be at least 18 years-old for unarmed guards,
  • be at least 21 years old for armed guards
  • be a citizen or resident of the United States

Fees:

  • Criminal History Fingerprint Fee – $50.00
  • Certification (2 yr.) fee – $80.00

  • PS-4 Fingerprint Affidavit
  • 1 fingerprint card
  • 12 hr. basic training
  • PS-20 Temporary Work Permit

Armed Professional

  • PS-4 Fingerprint Affidavit
  • 1 fingerprint card
  • 12 hr. basic unarmed training
  • 24 hr. basic armed training
  • PS-20 Temporary Work Permit
