Barclays Center, famous for showcasing the world’s most thrilling entertainment and sports events right in the heart of Brooklyn, New York is hiring Guest Services (Ticket Takers), and Security Guards!Workforce1 has partnered with AEG Worldwide @ the Barclays Center, famous for showcasing the world’s most thrilling entertainment and sports events in the heart of Brooklyn, New York to hire for the following positions:

Security Guards :

• Must have impeccable customer service skills and the ability to be a proactive problem-solver
• 1 year+ security guard experience preferred
• Must have active NYS Security Guard License and 8-hour annual training required
• Must have an open and flexible availability, including weekends, evening and holidays
• Available to work between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 12 midnight
• HS Diploma or equivalent

Guest Services (Ticket Takers) :

• Must have impeccable customer service skills and the ability to be a proactive problem-solver
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• Must have an open and flexible availability, including weekends, evening and holidays
• Available to work between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 12 midnight
• One (1) year prior customer service experience, preferably in a sports/entertainment venue environment
• Must be able to enhance customer experience by delivering excellent customer service

Faclilities Worker :

• Previous experience working in a multipurpose sports and entertainment facility preferred
• Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, material-handling equipment, forklifts, and general manual labor
• Experience performing facility maintenance, machine operation, and comfortable working with their hands
• Ability to work various shifts including weekdays, weeknights, weekends, overnight and holidays as required
• Performs set up and teardown duties for basketball, hockey, concerts, family shows, boxing, and special events
• Ability to perform duties associated with loading dock operations including warehousing, shipments & deliveries, assembly, truck elevators, freight elevators, turntable, loading pad, and material-handling equipment
