Suspect arrested in fatal shooting of Denver security guard – DENVER, Colorado — A man arrested in the fatal shooting of a transit security guard late Tuesday night is a U.S. Army veteran who had been flagged by the FBI after an altercation at a mosque in Texas, reports say. Joshua Andrew Cummings, 37, formerly of Pampa has been arrested and is being held on suspicion of first-degree murder in connection with the killing of a Denver Regional Transportation District security officer about 11 p.m. Tuesday outside of Denver’s Union Station.
