Today we recognize National K9 Veterans Day!

The military, police, and rescue teams have developed different training methods for K9 units over the years. The training is tailored to meet the demands of the job for each animal and its handler.

Ways you can honor those K9 Veterans are adopting a retired K9, teaching your dog a new trick, or giving your furry friend an extra treat today.
