Brooklyn NY- NYPD Police are searching for a man who stole a jacket from a Brooklyn thrift store and tussled with a guard as he fled the establishment. The incident occurred last Thursday, September 29th, around 6:05 p.m. at Urban Jungle, a thrift store at 120 Knickebocker Avenue in Bushwick. According to the NYPD, the shoplifter took a “burgundy Carhartt jacket” from a shelf and apparently stuffed it up the back of his shirt. When he tried to walk out with it, a security guard confronted him. But the jacket thief “forced his way past the guard” and fled. He was last seen speeding off in a black sedan headed northbound on Knickerbocker Avenue.

Security Guards :
Must have impeccable customer service skills and the ability to be a proactive problem-solver
1 year+ security guard experience preferred
Must have active NYS Security Guard License and 8-hour annual training required

Available to work between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 12 midnight
HS Diploma or equivalent
Guest Services (Ticket Takers) :

Faclilities Worker :
Previous experience working in a multipurpose sports and entertainment facility preferred
Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, material-handling equipment, forklifts, and general manual labor
Experience performing facility maintenance, machine operation, and comfortable working with their hands
Ability to work various shifts including weekdays, weeknights, weekends, overnight and holidays as required
Performs set up and teardown duties for basketball, hockey, concerts, family shows, boxing, and special events
Ability to perform duties associated with loading dock operations including warehousing, shipments & deliveries, assembly, truck elevators, freight elevators, turntable, loading pad, and material-handling equipment
