EAST GERMANTOWN – A bar manager in East Germantown was shot and killed, and police say the man accused is the bar’s own security guard.
The deadly shooting happened at Sharon’s Little Spot Bar on the 5600 block of Boyer Street, just before 11 p.m. Monday.
Police say it stemmed from an argument between the 44-year-old manager and the 28-year-old armed security guard, both whom were working at the time of the shooting.

Pittsburgh PA Oct 16 2016 A North Side man was shot in the shoulder this afternoon after he hit a security officer with his car in Fineview, Pittsburgh police said. The driver, 31-year-old Raphael David Caruso, was charged with attempted homicide and aggravated assault. Mr. Caruso drive into the area shortly before 4:30 p.m. even though he was not permitted to be there. When the security officers confronted Mr. Caruso, he got back into his car and drove into one of them, police said. The other security guard opened fire and struck Mr. Caruso as he tried to speed away. Mr. Caruso and the injured security officer were both taken to Allegheny General Hospital in stable condition.
